I have heard somethin around 20 July,
if the current ISOs will be OK, these will become as final R6...

not yet..., it will be available on the wiki for the release day (likely will be for July 20)

QA with the above ISOs is going fine:
there are lot chances that these ISOs will become as the official ROSA Fresh R6 ;)

Who has ROSA R5 with all the official updates has the same stuff of the ROSA R6

I noted that on the 2014.1 repos several files of Plasma 5.3.2 are already available. Are they already usable? there's even a task-plasma5 metafile, but I don't know if plasma 5 is complete and how stable it is. Any news?

Yes, Plasma 5 is usable, not for daily use, or production PC; but already works enough...

Just a moment I can suggest you the ISO of R6 with Plasma 5 (unofficial)

searching... found.., , I've copied a sentence of Pulfer from ROSA Forum:
Pulfer wrote:Only unofficial Plasma 5 ISOs until Fall 2016 (when we switch from rosa2014.1 to rosa2016.1). Until that KDE 4 will be the main ROSA's DE.

Unofficial Plasma 5 ISOs can be downloaded from:
https://abf.rosalinux.ru/platforms/rosa ... oducts/137

Plasma 5 is not complete yet (no RocketBar port etc).

Thanks, I'll give it a try, at least in a virtual machine.

I tested plasma5 in a virtual machine. What to say: it looks really promising, but still rough: it's not fluid as current Rosa release. I did not upgrade the firmware, but my feeling is that it is the graphic part that needs optimizations: transitions are not smooth and the reactivity is not at its best.
Anyhow I believe that, once completed, it will be a huge step forward.

Indeed!

Plasma 5 is graphically nicer but is also heavier and slower than KDE 4...
- ROSA has decided to move officially to Plasma 5 only since end of 2016
- OMV should be equipped officially with Plasma 5 around the end of 2015,
hoping well... it's a bit risky!

The ISOs to be released have been reassembled to fix the adobe flash security issue

i586 > http://mirror.rosalab.ru/rosa/rosa2014. ... 6.i586.iso
x86_64> http://mirror.rosalab.ru/rosa/rosa2014. ... x86_64.iso

If everything will be OK with these, the "official announce" should follow for tomorrow...
