Bisigi creates a lot of beautiful themes for Gnome, so far they made over 14:
Themes are created on Ubuntu for Ubuntu, MIB prepared them for Mandriva!

Through this convenient metapackage,
task-bisigi-gnome-themes-2010.1-1.1mib2010.1.noarch.rpm

Code: Select all

urpmi -a task-bisigi-gnome-themes
so you can install 14 various themes with only one command,
and then you can try all them from change Aspect in Gnome.

Code: Select all

[root@localhost emanuele]# urpmi -a task-bisigi-gnome-themes
Uno dei pacchetti richiesti non può essere installato:
task-bisigi-gnome-themes-2010.1-1.1mib2010.1.noarch (perché non è soddisfatto bisigi-gnome-showtime-theme)
Continuo comunque l'Installazione? (S/n)
Come procedo ?

We received a msg from Bisigi author:
He wants an "how to" install Bisigi themes with mandriva for his website

So I'll use this msg to try to prepare a simple guide

We thank François Vogelweith for his work to create Bisigi Project!

=====================================================================

Open a terminal window, type su, press Enter, type root password, press Enter
then we strongly suggest to install all 14 Bisigi themes, with the following script

for Mandriva 2010.1 - 32bit

Code: Select all

urpmi.addmedia --update MIB-basic http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/2010.1/32/basic/
urpmi -a task-bisigi-gnome-themes
urpmi.removemedia MIB-basic
for Mandriva 2010.1 - 64bit

Code: Select all

urpmi.addmedia --update MIB-basic http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/2010.1/64/basic/
urpmi -a task-bisigi-gnome-themes
urpmi.removemedia MIB-basic

If you wish to install only some themes, first add the MIB repo

for Mandriva 2010.1 - 32bit

Code: Select all

urpmi.addmedia --update MIB-basic http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/2010.1/32/basic
for Mandriva 2010.1 - 64bit

Code: Select all

urpmi.addmedia --update MIB-basic http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/2010.1/64/basic
Then you can install one or more themes, with some simple one line commands

List of commands to install specific themes:

Code: Select all

AquaDreams: urpmi gnome-bisigi-aquadreams-theme
Ubuntu Sunrise: urpmi gnome-bisigi-ubuntu-sunrise-theme
Bamboo-Zen: urpmi gnome-bisigi-bamboo-zen-theme
Step into Freedom: urpmi gnome-bisigi-step-into-freedom-theme
Tropical: urpmi gnome-bisigi-tropical-theme
Exotic: urpmi gnome-bisigi-exotic-theme
Balanzan: urpmi gnome-bisigi-balanzan-theme
Wild Shine: urpmi gnome-bisigi-wild-shine-theme
Infinity: urpmi gnome-bisigi-infinity-theme
Showtime: urpmi gnome-bisigi-showtime-theme
Orange: urpmi gnome-bisigi-orange-theme
Ellanna: urpmi gnome-bisigi-ellanna-theme
AirLine urpmi gnome-bisigi-airlines-theme
Eco: urpmi gnome-bisigi-eco-theme
At the end, you can wish remove the MIB repo, if there is nothing else of your interest

Code: Select all

urpmi.removemedia MIB-basic

We published too, all the SRPMS, so other guys, especially from Fedora, OpenSuse, PcLinuxOS, or other rpm based, can easily port in their distros

Here the SRPMS

Code: Select all

http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/2010.1/srpms

Il centro di controllo mi segnala:

Spiacente, questo pacchetto non può essere selezionato:

- task-bisigi-gnome-themes-2010.1-2mib2010.1.x86_64 (perché non è soddisfatto libmurrine)

E' installata la lib64murrine ma non viene riconosciuta.

There is already a solution since one more week, but in MIB there are persons not pay attention to me. There are many bad things since some time from now.

Someone delete the previous version of sbflo in the mib repo. Thanks
...-2mib2010.1.i686.rpm
has been deleted
but has nothing to do, with the 64 bit version...

So if you mean to rebuild
-3mib2010.1.x86_64.rpm
I rebuild it, and put into server (deleting previous -2mib version and lists are updating just now)

Let me know, if I did the right thing to do!

You must be clearer, sometimes we do not understand with each other...
