For ROSA Marathon we'll build Kernels LTS: 3.0, 3.2, 3.4, and all the latest kernels up to the 3.10 series
For ROSA Fresh we are building all Kernel versions starting only from the 3.6 to the most recent series
For "Cooker" we are building all Kernel versions starting only from the 3.8 to the most recent series
For old distros Mandriva 2010 and 2011, we are maintaining build compatibility: you can also rebuild,
but we CANNOT prepare the rpms for You, as we have no chance to build with ABF or in our own PCs

Re: Kernel vanilla 3.10 rc6 ROSA2012 2012.1, cooker, mdv2010

Post by NicCo »

My feedback:
I'm using kernel vanilla 3.10. rc6 in my own Marathon x64: it works just fine!

After installing it from my own local build, with the urpmi command:

Code: Select all

# urpmi /home/utente/rpmbuild/RPMS/x86_64/kernel-vanilla-devel-3.10.0-0.rc6.1rosa.lts-1-1-rosa.lts2012.0.x86_64.rpm /home/utente/rpmbuild/RPMS/x86_64/kernel-vanilla-3.10.0-0.rc6.1rosa.lts-1-1-rosa.lts2012.0.x86_64.rpm
then after the first reboot, I am on 3.10 rc6, and I can verify that:

Code: Select all

$ uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 3.10.0-0.rc6.1rosa.lts #1 SMP Sun Jun 16 11:19:59 CEST 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
