VM Player 3.1.4 - 64bit non parte più ?

Con la shell esce subito senza dare nessun errore.

Provo la patch per il Kernel 2.6.38.2, segnalandomi accesso negato di esecuzione ?

No, le patch per kernel 2.6.38.x occorreva solamente per la precedente versione di vmware/vmplayer 7.1.3 / 3.1.3
mentre per le recenti 7.1.4 / 3.1.4 non serve alcuna patch

Forse il sistema ha dimenticato al boot di lanciare i moduli che gli occorrono, errore che di tanto in tanto può capitare,

è appunto per questo il MIB ha validissime Guide, nell'apposita sezione, cerca vmware e troverai... la mia Guida...
