Prototype 1.0

Another package done for the official Non-Free, but may be very interesting for MIB users (as very few people know about this game). Unfortunatelly, it depends on close-sourced library fmod3, which is 32 bit only, so the package is 32 bit only too. Still I guess it's possible to make a 64 bit build ...

Yes, installing cg is not the solution. The solution is to rebuild ogre with cg-devel installed. That's why we need to move ogre from Contrib to Non-Free (not very fast procedure). I'll write here when everything is done :)

StuntRally 1.3

Not a MIB package actually (I packaged it for Contrib), but might be very interesting for MIB users. StuntRally is a rally game with Stunt elements, based on VDrift and OGRE. The game features 49 tracks in 6 sceneries, 7 cars and a Track Editor. It focuses on closed rally tracks with possible stunt ...

Re: Open Mind Speech (FreeSpeech)

This one seems to be way too old to be ported  The program is abandoned by its developers for a long-long time and requires quite much patching work to be built by modern tools.

Re: Anki

This one is also done :-) It was already ported to Cooker few weeks ago so I only backported it. For 2010.2 - in MIB /basic For 2011 - in /contrib/backports Actually, it depends on pyaudio package which is still building for 2011/2010.2 contrib/backports. So you'll have to wait for some time until p...

Looks like they started massive Java packages update in Main. I don't know if updated Java will be backported to 2011, but at least it will surely be in LTS release.

Re: Request: cclive 0.7.4.1

Indeed, Minitube is worth of trying. I'm not sure if it supports as many sites as cclive but it's the most popular programs to download videos from YouTube. Meanwhile, libquvi is updated to 0.2.19 and backported to 2011 and 2010.2 (contrib/backports). cclive 0.7.6 is also packaged for cooker (contri...

Re: ffmpeg

E' possibile pacchettizzare ffmpeg 0.83 per 2010.2 - 2011 x86_64 ? ffmpeg 0.8 has many API and ABI changes (compared to 0.6/0.7) so it will surely break many existing programs that depend on it. Switching to ffmpeg 0.8 is a huge task which requires lots of patching and rebuilding. 0.7.x branch stil...
