minitube-logocripMiniTUBE 1.5  for Mandriva 2009.1 & 2010.2

Updated

Minitube is a native YouTube client.
With it you can watch YouTube videos in a new way: you type a keyword, Minitube gives you an endless video stream.

Minitube does not require the Flash Player.
Minitube is not about cloning the original Youtube web interface, it strives to create a new TV-like experience.
Minitube is in its early stages. It lacks many features I planned for it. That said, it works.
Try it, report your experience in the comments and spread the word.

What's new?

A few hours ago I’ve come back from free camping on a beautiful mountain. When I logged in I found out dozens of users where complaining about Minitube not working. Here I am with a new release that fixes the problem and adds a few features. Thanks to Mike Holenderski for emailing me details about the YouTube changes that broke Minitube.

Besides watching videos again, you can now drag’n'drop YouTube links from your browser to the Minitube window. Also, Minitube is now more tolerant about which URLs are actually YouTube URLs. New translations are included thanks to the great people contributing on Transifex.
